The basic concept of the JIFFY-7 peat pellets is they start off as a pellet approximately 3/8" in height when dry. 1/2"-5/8" in height for the forestry type. After soaking with an application of water, the pellet expands to approximately 4-6 times their original size ready for seed or cuttings.
